Braving the Wilderness by Brene Brown
Book Study with Small Study Groups

Six Week Book-study from Feb 8th - March 15th

This winter we will be exploring what it means to truly belong…how to stay connected to ourselves and others in a divided, lonely and polarized world. We will discover how true belonging doesn’t require us to change who we are. It requires us to be who we are.

Social scientist Brene Brown, PhD, has sparked a global conversation about the experiences that bring meaning to our lives - experiences of courage, vulnerability, love, belonging, shame and empathy. In this book-study we will explore these topics and learn how to engage in compassionate dialogue with others in an age of extreme polarization.

Rev. Victoria will begin the exploration with a Sunday Talk Series starting February 1st, and the conversation will continue in a relaxed home environment facilitated by a variety of UCP members. You will have several days and times to choose from.
Conversation starters and study guides are available on Brene’s website: https://brenebrown.com/book/braving-the-wilderness/
