Understanding Oneness
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

After a month of exploring the Power of Understanding through curiosity, compassion, and deeper connection with ourselves and others, we arrive at the foundation of it all: Oneness.

This Sunday we'll explore the transformative truth that we are not separate beings trying to become spiritual—we are Divine Light being human. When we begin from the awareness that we are already whole, our healing, relationships, work, and every area of life can begin to realign with that deeper truth.

Rev. Victoria will share some simple yet powerful practices to awaken the Love and Light already present within us and learn how to bring that awareness into our bodies, our relationships, and our everyday lives.

Understanding Others
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

We continue our exploration of the Power of Understanding with a focus on "understanding others" this Sunday.  We will revisit the concepts and process of NVC (non-violent communication) to assist us in our desire to understand even those who frustrate or, or just baffle us. As the founder of NVC, Marshall Rosenberg, reminded us - behind every action, even the ones we find frustrating or hurtful, is a human being trying to meet a need. Knowing that to be seen, valued and fully heard is what we all crave, we will learn how to be fully present with someone, bringing our "whole self" into the moment. When we practice understanding we don't just change our conversations, we become instruments of peace.

Understanding Ourselves
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen
Why do certain things trigger me? What causes me to open my heart? What distracts me from realizing my intentions? And, what moves me forward towards it? These are all questions that help us become more self-aware, and are part of the process of activating our Power of Understanding, which is our focus this month. This Sunday we'll begin our exploration into this amazing Power that can help us discover the connections between our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and our experience. It can also give us the insight to apply those "light-bulb moments" in specific ways to navigate specific situations. Together let's turn on the light of understanding ourselves, each other, and the world.

Remember, Remember
Speaker: Nathan Jorgensen
How many times have you been told (or told yourself) that you have to remember something, only to have it blow away with the next gust of wind? How many times have you wanted to forget something, only to have it stick to your mind like gum on a shoe? It seems remembering can be both a blessing and a curse - perhaps it depends on what it is we are remembering. Or, perhaps it depends on how we interpret and feel about what we are remembering. Can that ever change? Researchers have learned some important insights into memory, how it impacts us, and how it develops in our younger years, but does memory have any value or meaning for our spiritual growth and development?
Join Nathan as he explores this topic blending together psychology, science fiction, and religious experiences. One thing is certain - you'll either remember this talk, or you won't! Come find out.

One Light, Many Lamps
Speaker: Rev. Tami Johns

One Light, Many Lamps” reminds us that although we come from different traditions, identities, backgrounds, and life experiences, we are all connected to the same Divine Source. Using the image of lamps, the message teaches that our outward differences do not determine our worth; what matters is the Light within us and our connection to God. The message challenges us to stop judging people by appearance, personality, politics, race, religion, sexuality, or how “polished” they seem, and instead look deeper for the sacred light they carry. Through personal reflection, it also explores how perfectionism, comparison, disconnection, and fear can dim our light, while healing, compassion, and spiritual connection help us shine again. Ultimately, it calls us to protect our own light, honor the light in others, and become people who help the world grow brighter by choosing love over judgment.

The Fathering Principle
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen
This Sunday we celebrate our fathers, mentors, father-figures -- anyone who had an influence on the person we grew into. This might include feelings of gratitude for the ways we were supported and nurtured, or give us an opportunity to heal and forgive. And for the fathers in the congregation, it's also an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be a father and the enormous contribution you make.

We'll then explore the "Father aspect" of the Divine Presence that is within us at all times, calling our divine nature forward into greater expression.
All fathers, stepfathers, mentors and teachers will receive a reminder of how amazing they are!

What Else Could Be?
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

Have you ever carried a dream in your heart, prayed for it, nurtured it, and worked tirelessly toward it—only to watch it unfold in a way you didn't want? Or perhaps not manifest at all? When our plans fall apart, it's easy to question ourselves, lose faith, or wonder if we've somehow failed. But what if life's detours are not setbacks, but invitations into something greater?

This Sunday, Rev. Victoria shares a deeply personal story of a cherished vision that didn't unfold as planned, and the surprising spiritual awakening that emerged in its place. Discover the insights and practices that helped her release blame, shame, and attachment to ego-driven outcomes, and open instead to a deeper trust in Divine Purpose. You may find that what feels like an ending is actually the beginning of something even more meaningful.

Imagine That!
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

What do you imagine will happen today? What do you imagine will happen in your life this year? What are you imagining right now? Do you know our power of imagination (one of our 12 Spiritual Powers) is a signature human ability. We have the capacity to envision possibilities beyond our present experience. And if we want to experience something new, we must first imagine it. This Sunday Rev. Victoria will explore how this power can help us shape a greater reality -- both individually and collectively.

The Power of Light
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

This Sunday, Rev. Victoria explores The Power of Light — and one of life’s most enduring spiritual questions: If God is truly the only power and presence, expressed as Love, Life, and Light, then why do we experience hatred, suffering, injustice, and fear?  In this inspiring and practical talk, we’ll look at a perspective that can help reconcile this seeming contradiction and illuminate a path beyond it. Together, we’ll discover how to activate the divine light within us so that we may become greater expressions of love, compassion, wisdom, and healing in our own lives and in the world around us.

Recognizing the Light
Speaker: Rev. Donna Gulick

Last Sunday Donna Gulick was with us to share rich personal stories that led to profound insights about the Light that we are, and how we can activate that light in the midst of the darkness. Rather than resist the challenges, we can move into allowing what is and, through gratitude, and following Divine guidance about what is ours to do, we open to the miracles all around us.
